Why doesn't the eye mask feel "very hot"?
The Thermrup Far Infrared Eye Mask deliberately does not work with strong surface heat like conventional heating wires, but with gentle Far Infrared deep heat. This often makes the warmth feel less "hot," but it is still effective. For safety reasons, the temperature is limited to 40–50°C, in accordance with recommendations for gentle heat treatment in the sensitive eye area.

Why is there a small gap between the heating surface and the eyes?
The small gap between the heating surface and the eyes is deliberately provided. It prevents the heat source from resting directly on the sensitive eyelid, thus protecting against excessively high direct heat exposure. This allows the heat to be transferred more gently and evenly. At the same time, this gap allows the Far Infrared heat to unfold optimally, keeping the application safe and pleasant.
